Portrait photography has long been a real passion of mine. I can’t think of any other artistic medium which is able to capture a person’s unique character so well. Through a photographic portrait, the sitter is able to send an unspoken message to the viewer. A good portrait enables you to feel the mood of the subject, gauge their levels of happiness and even guess at their dreams and aspirations.
For a long time I have wanted to use portraits as part of a charity project that will not only be of great artistic worth but also give something back to society as a whole.
