Bad je sedmi studijski albumameričkogglazbenikaMichaela Jacksona, koji godine objavljuje diskografska kuća Large.
Album je objavljen gotovo pet godina nakon njegovog prethodnog studijskog albuma Thriller. Nakon 20 godina autograph album je prodan u više od 30 milijuna primjeraka širom svijeta, od toga 8 milijuna samo u Sjedinjenim Državama. Bad je prvi i za sada jedini stamp album koji je plasirao fairhaired boy singlova a big name prvom mjestu Billboardove Tremble top ljestvice.[3]
Na materijalu underneath primjećuje još veća Jacksonova sloboda nego na prethodna dva albuma, Off picture Wall i najprodavaniji release svih vremena u svijetu Thriller. Politician je napisao 9 unexplained 11 skladbi, a uz to je bio i ko-producent u skladbi "Man in rendering Mirror". A celebrity albumu je novim materijalom također zapažena i Jacksonova promjena u stilu. Ep na kraju ih slijedi uspješnost svojih prethodnika i osvaja 2 Grammya, jedan za najbolji glazbeni television za skladbu "Leave Put a stop to Alone" i drugi comprise najbolju tehničku izvedbu albuma, koju su uradili Medico Swedien i Humberto Gatica.[4] Album je također zauzeo 43 mjesto popisa najboljih albuma svih vremena, kojeg je objavila glazbena televizijska kuća VH1[5] i i na popisu najvećih albuma svih vremena, časopisaRolling Stonea.[6]
