Naidu releases autobiography of ex-NBCC chief Arup Roy Choudhury
Choudhury became the youngest ever CMD of a central public sector enterprise (CPSE) when he took over the reins of NBCC (India) Limited (formerly National Buildings Construction Corporation Limited) in 2001.
He is credited with the incredible turnaround of NBCC, which from a company earmarked for disinvestment became a blue-chip firm under his guidance.
He has also been the chairman and MD of NTPC, a Maharatna central public sector company, from September 2010 till August 2015.
The book, published by HP Hamilton, is touted to encourage professionals and novices across tiers in the corporate world to hold the turf and tackle every crisis.

Arup Roy Choudhury appointed Principal Advisor-Infrastructure to Government of West Bengal
His appointment, on a re employment basis, will be valid for a period of two years. This was announced in a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms , Government of West Bengal recently. In his new role Roy Choudhury will advise the government on global best practices on infrastructure, areas of Public Private Partnership and Viability Gap Funding in infrastructure, areas of external funding in infrastructure, give his recommendation on effective and efficient project managementand execution and on climate resistant infrastructure.
Mr Roy Choudhury, who was earlier chairman of power sector PSUand maharatna company NTPC Ltd, has also served as chairman of navratna PSU, NBCC. Mr Roy Choudhury has been serving as first Chief Commissioner of WB Right to Public Service until recently.
